1. Acceptance of Terms

By using My Life Memories, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You agree not to post content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes on the rights of others.
• You must not misuse the platform or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.

3. Data Usage

• We collect your email, password (or authentication credentials), memorial content you submit, and website and usage information as described in our Privacy Policy, in order to provide the service.
• Your data is used to create, manage, and display memorials and to understand aggregate usage of the site, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support.

4. Physical product warranty and replacements

Your physical memorial QR plaque (the product shipped with your purchase) is covered by a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, subject to our then-current warranty procedures.

After the warranty period, replacement physical plaques are available for $50 CAD each (plus applicable shipping and taxes), while we continue to offer that program. Fees and availability may change; we will communicate material changes where required.

5. Prepaid memorial hosting

Your purchase includes prepaid web hosting for the associated digital memorial page for thirty (30) years from your purchase date, so visitors can open the memorial online when they scan your code.

We aim to provide long-term, reliable service, but we cannot guarantee hosting or the platform indefinitely. Service duration, features, and pricing are subject to change over time; where material changes affect your prepaid period, we will provide notice in line with applicable law and our policies.

When the prepaid hosting period ends, you may download your memorial content where we offer an export or download tool, and you may have the option to purchase extended hosting if we make that available. If you take no action, access to the hosted memorial may end in accordance with our procedures and applicable terms at that time.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the platform.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
